Climate-neutrality needs wind energy to do more
“Electric City” is a new onshore and offshore wind event, with participants from wind and beyond!
Heavy industry, mobility, district and domestic heating, storage, hybrids, hydrogen and many more are invited to join the conversation on how we build a clean economy. This means new voices at the conference. It means new business partners and customers for you on the exhibition floor.
Health & Safety update
The situation in Denmark is encouraging and the outlook for the event taking place in Copenhagen is very promising. Based on the Danish government’s plans for reopening, we are confident in welcoming everyone to Electric City as there will no longer be limits to the number of people attending an event in Denmark. Of course, we will ensure that everyone feels safe and well taken care of at the event!

Read our report: Getting fit for 55 and set for 2050
The EU has committed to cut greenhouse gas emission by 55% compared to 1990 by 2030, a key milestone in reaching climate neutrality in 2050. The European Commission’s analysis shows that direct electrification, complemented with the indirect electrification of hard-to-abate sectors, is the most cost-effective and energy efficient way to cut energy sector emissions to net-zero by 2050.
Jointly developed between ETIPWind, WindEurope and the Event Ambassadors, this report shows that deep decarbonisation of the economy is possible. In fact, it will cost no more as a share of GDP than our energy system costs today. And it will dramatically reduce external costs, notably of air pollution, not accounted for today.
