Session description
"The offshore wind supply chain has made great achievements, costs have gone down faster than anyone expected making it one of the most competitive sources of renewable energy. But this has also put a lot of pressure on the supply chain. Europe will double the number of turbines installed so the opportunity is huge for all the supply chain. How do we as a sector manage pressure for continued reduction while delivering the expected installations growth?
This session will focus on how Europe can collaborate to strengthen its offshore wind supply chain and what governments can do to deliver Europe’s offshore wind targets. Underlying question: how to ensure that this efforts translate into more jobs in Europe?"
