Biography
Alexandra Koefoed is CEO of Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, a leading transport, installation and service partner in the growing offshore wind market. Alexandra is committed to renewable energy and has spent the last 20+ years of her career solving challenges at the intersection of ocean, wind and people.
Alexandra started her career with Aker Marine Contractors in 2003, where she worked in engineering roles across a variety of offshore projects within subsea oil and gas, decommissioning and renewables and was on leave to compete in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing in sailing. She joined Fred. Olsen in 2010 before moving into Fred. Olsen Windcarrier in 2014, working in project management, project execution and business development for numerous offshore installation and O&M contracts. She has been Managing Director of Fred. Olsen Windcarrier since 2018, and became Chief Executive Officer in 2020.
Alexandra holds a Master of Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which included an exchange year at UC Berkeley.
