Biography

As a trained specialist in shipping and marine management Caspar Blum started his career in the world of merchant shipping. Since 2013 he is active in the offshore renewables industry where he started to work as an offshore shipbroker focusing on subsea and walk-to-work vessels. Soon after Casper became a chartered shipbroker at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers London. After working in Aberdeen for the same shipbroker he joined a German maritime contracting company. Since 2018 Caspar is in charge for business development and sales activities for Ampelmann Operations B.V. with a focus on the global offshore wind industry.
