Biography

Mr McKinnon has been a PhD researcher for 3 years. He studied Physics at the University of Glasgow, then completed a MSc of Wind Energy Systems at the University of Strathclyde before carrying this on to a PhD in Wind and Marine Energy Systems. His PhD has focused on Machine Learning for Operations and Maintenance (O&M). Over the past 3 years, he has been involved in projects investigating anomaly detection and normal behaviour modelling for various applications in Machine Learning O&M.
