Biography

Dr. Larsén has a PhD on Boundary Layer Meteorology from Uppsala University. She has worked with wind energy for 17 years at Risø, Wind Energy Department of DTU. Her research area includes turbulence-across-scales, extreme winds, air-sea interaction, where statistical and numerical modeling approaches are developed, together with applications of measurements. She has been leading research as well as development projects, whose topics cover modeling extreme wind/wave conditions, the interactions between wind, wave and farm wakes, and siting parameters.
