Session description
The European Commission announced end of 2019 its goal of reaching climate neutrality by 2050. To get there renewable energy need to be scaled up accordingly.
For both onshore and offshore wind power challenges as obtaining fast consent/permits, building the needed grid and scaling the supply chain are well addressed. The question is how are we going to handle the "people pipeline"?
Is the wind power sector actually able to attact and retain the number of people and with the needed type of competences?
How can the wind power sector ensure to win in the battle on new, young talent and "career changers"?
Can the sector attract a more diverse group of talent and change to become a global and inclusive working environment in a sufficiently fast way? How?
Join this panel to hear from some of the leaders in the wind power sector who do see this challenge and if they see a need for collaboration across companies.
