Session description

GBM Works presents the Vibrojet, a new and silent installation method for monopiles, based on the combination of 2 techniques:
1. vibration to overcome the soil friction on the outside of the pile
2. controlled fluidization to overcome the soil friction on the inside of the pile.
The technique has been tested on scale 1:4 and proves to perform faster, with significant lower noise and energy levels than traditional methods.
The presentation will give information of machine design and performance in sandy and clay grounds, as well as information on Full scale demonstration of the technique planned for Summer 2023.
