Biography

Dr. Aitor Saenz has been working in the renewable energies industry for almost 6 years. For the last 3 of them, he has been working as a Technology Professional in the onshore control section of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energies. He studied Renewable Energies Engineering BSc, Control, Automation and Robotics MSc and PhD in control of wind turbines based on intelligent techniques. Nowadays, he is focused on the development of control strategies for the improvement of the operation of onshore wind turbines, as well as their grid connection and control responses to electrical events in weak grid scenarios.
