Biography

Joe Thompson has been working in the offshore renewable energy industry for almost 10 years. He studied marine renewable energy at Plymouth University before working in various roles in the wave and tidal energy industry including Metocean Data Manager at the European Marine Energy Centre. He is currently an Analyst at K2 Management based in Bristol, UK, specialising in offshore wind energy. Joe has carried out energy yield analyses on many onshore and offshore wind farm projects including several projects in Asia and major UK offshore developments.
