Biography

Lars Frøyd has been working in the wind industry for 10 years. He is currently lead engineer for offshore wind at 4Subsea AS in Norway. He holds a MSc and PhD from NTNU (NOWITECH) specialization in wind energy. He was technical responsible for the heavy lift operations at Hywind Scotland (Equinor) and was responsible for coupled analysis of Hywind Tampen (Kvaerner). His areas of research and expertise includes improved methods for coupled analysis of bottom fixed and floating turbines in particular, including mooring and cable systems.
