Biography

Kilian Krügel works for the technology development department of Bachmann Monitoring. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in naval architecture and ocean engineering. He is furthermore an ISO-CAT certified vibration specialist. Before joining Bachmann in 2017, he served for WavEC – Offshore Renewables, where he worked on R&D projects in the field of offshore floating wind. During that time, he gained first insights in data analysis and monitoring of offshore assets. In his current position at Bachmann, he develops monitoring software and supports offshore customer projects. He is involved in the H2020 project ROMEO, which aims at reducing offshore O&M cost by technology enhancements.
