Biography

Claus Madsen is working as Managing Director of Hitachi Energy Denmark A/S. Claus has held a number of leading roles within ABB in USA, Germany and Sweden. Claus has for the last two decades been involved with wind energy on a global and regional level focusing on offshore wind both turbines and substations. Delivering products and solutions in close collaboration with key customers. In Denmark Claus is currently Chairman of DI Energi, Vice chairman of Danish Intelligent Energy Alliance. Claus holds a bachelor degree in Industrial engineering from Syddansk Ingeniørhøjskole and a Master (HD) in Industrial Marketing from Odense University.
