Biography

Global Head of Renewables Innovation, Technology and Solutions 20 years in international business, last 15 years in renewable power generation, 2 years living in US. César has been working in renewable sector since 2004 in a number of management positions with global responsibilities, along his professional career he got experience in several companies along the renewable value chain, such as IPP, EPC or technology partner. He has participated in several innovation projects that helped to develop technologies from early to commercial stages. He joined ABB in 2016 from Abengoa and previous to his current position in Hitachi Energy he managed global operations in the EPC Solutions and Plant Electrification businesses. César hold a M. Eng. in Power Plants from Zaragoza University and M. Sc. in Physics from Seville University, he completed an Advance Management Program (AMP) in ESADE Business School and Growth Strategy Program in Wharton. He is involved in WindEurope, as Wind Floating Working Group member. Energy, technology and sustainability passionate, outdoor sports lover.
