Biography

Pedro Santos’ has 10 years of experience in wind energy research. His main research focuses on wind resource characterization for wind energy with strong emphasis on remote sensing measurement technologies. His background (MSc and PhD) involved the planning and execution of micrometeorological experiments. He’s currently concluding his PhD and acts as a Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems focused on the usage of scanning and profiling wind lidars to uncover multi-scale flow patterns both onshore and offshore.
