Biography

Since 2009 Prof. Dr. Zehtindjiev has been working at the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research – BAS, part of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He graduated in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1990 with a degree in Vertebrate Zoology. In 2001 he defended his dissertation on the characteristics of nocturnal migration of birds in Bulgaria. He is the author of over 70 scientific publications in international journals in the field of ecology.
