Biography

Michael Schaap is Technical Director at IQIP in the Netherlands. IQIP is a leading global supplier of intelligent foundation and installation equipment for the on- and offshore markets. The company has been a partner in creating renewable energy, by installing foundations at offshore wind farms in partnership with renewable energy firms. Michael has worked for IQIP (including predecessor IHC Hydrohammer) since 2000. Starting as (senior) mechanical engineer, manager engineering, manager Research & Development and currently in the role as Technical Director. He aims to be technical conscience and to structurize, facilitate and stimulate innovation in close contact with the market.
