Biography
Michael STAVY is an advisor (30 years) on renewable energy finance (wind, solar, energy storage, hydrogen, carbon taxes). He has a University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) BA (1967); Northwestern University MBA (1969) and Illinois CPA (1979-inactive). At UIC, Michael took math through diff Q plus one year each of college chemistry and physics. His 39 papers include “A Financial Worksheet for Computing the Cost (¢/kWh) of Solar Electricity Generated at a Grid Connected PV Generating Plant (LCOE)”, Journal of Solar Energy Engineering (JSEE), Aug, 2002, and “The Carbon Content of Hydrogen Vehicle Fuel Produced by Hydrogen Electrolysis”, JSEE, Feb, 2005. He was quoted in the 04/04/13 NYT http://nyti.ms/10CnQ8T and in an 11/06/19 ABC TV News article, https://lnkd.in/eGE3f7R Michael taught (10/02) at the Ecole Supériere de Affairs (ESA), Grenoble-II (France), and at UIC (1997-98).
