Biography

Sverrir Gunnarsson is Global R&D Service Manager for Hempel. With 10 years of experience working in and leading teams to develop protective coatings, Sverrir has worked across the Marine, Protective and Wind segments. Sharing insight and knowledge between the segments to enable Hempel to develop world class solutions. Sverrir’s current focus is on Sustainability projects particularly in the wind segment. Studying at the DTU- Technical University of Denmark Sverrir holds an MS and PHD in Materials Science.
