| 17-Nov | If you have a fever, cough or are displaying any other potential COVID-19 symptom, don’t come to the event and make sure you get tested for COVID-19. Click here to see a list of available COVID-19 test centres in Copenhagen. Tests are free of charge but please remember to book your appointment in advance. Be aware that waiting times to get results have increased as Denmark increased the testing capacity so please take this into account when making your arrangements for the event. If you are travelling from abroad, please check if you need to get tested before boarding your flight home. |

| 15-Nov | Following recent updates to the Danish Government’s COVID-19 guidelines on 12 November, plans for WindEurope Electric City 2021 are continuing apace to ensure the event will go ahead in a safe and secure enviornment. We are already applying a COVID-19 status check – you will need to display your COVID-19 certificate to gain entry to the venue and to the Electric City event. Therefore, no changes have been made to the existing Health and Safety Protocol.

We’ve worked on an end-to-end process covering all aspects of the event, from planning and design to the build-up, event and break-down periods.
We’ve conducted a detailed event risk assessment and have put together a set of measures and recommendations aiming at creating a successful business event while maintaining the highest level of safety and comfort.
Arrival and Venue Access
In order to mitigate any COVID-19 related risk, WindEurope requires all event attendees to have valid proof of their COVID-19 status.
This will be an entry requirement to the event ensuring the safety of all.
Upon arrival, all event attendees will be asked to show either:
1. Proof of full vaccination
EMA approved vaccination (BioNTech Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen Pharmaceutica). The last day of vaccination needs to be at least 14 days before the date of arrival at the venue. Other vaccines will not be accepted and proof of a negative PCR test will be required.
2. Proof of immunity
If you have previously been infected with COVID-19, you can use this as documentation by showing the result of your positive PCR test. Positive rapid antigen tests cannot be used as valid documentation. Your positive PCR test must have been taken within the past 14 to 180 days (6 months) to qualify.
3. Proof of negative PCR test
Only an official negative PCR test result from within the last 48hrs will be recognised, self-tests will not be accepted.
All participants will be asked to show proof of their COVID-19 status before entering the venue ground. This will apply to all attendees, staff and suppliers working at the event both during the event itself, and during the build-up and dismantling period.
Checks will be placed outdoors at all entrances to the venue and at goods delivery entrances every day, including during build-up and breakdown period.
Those who are not able to provide proof of their COVID-19 status will not be allowed into the venue.
Covid-19 Test Centres in Copenhagen
Free test locations throughout Copenhagen can be found on www.en.coronasmitte.dk/test-for-covid-19 with addresses and opening hours. Please note all test centres require an appointment in advance. You will receive the test results within the 10-12 hours. The test centres closest to the venue are at these locations:

The test result is valid for 48 hours.
Non-Danish citizens must register on Covidresults.dk before your appointment at the test centre.

Traffic and social distancing
Distancing is no longer a requirement according to Danish law.
WindEurope will not impose social distancing rules during the event, however, WindEurope will ensure efficient traffic management to avoid crowding and encourage everyone to keep a respectful distance from other event attendees.
The event layout is subject to a detailed assessment to identify potential risks where overcrowding could occur.
The current event layout and aisle width in the exhibition allows for a two-way traffic system. This will remain in place if the regulation continues to allow for it.
Venue
The ventilation system in the exhibition halls and foyers is set to 100% fresh air. The Bella Center’s CTS System monitors the temperature and air quality in all areas and will automatically adjust the air flow in the rooms and halls.
The Cleaning Protocol for the event is updated to fully respond to the COVID-19 risk assessment and ensure the safety of all attendees. Special attention will be given to the high traffic areas at the event and high contact surfaces.
Masks are not compulsory, but attendees may continue to wear these if preferred.
Hand sanitisers are based on 80% alcohol and will be located permanently in all high-traffic areas, restrooms, at the entrance to the exhibition halls, conference rooms and the catering area.
Capacity
Following the lifting of social distancing measures, there is currently no requirement for a reduced capacity at the stands, exhibition halls, conference and meeting rooms.
In order to avoid overcrowding and reduce potential transmission risks, WindEurope will take actions to efficiently monitor and manage traffic flow and capacity.
Social events & Catering
Social events and stand receptions are permitted at the event. There are no capacity restrictions for the stand receptions.
Consuming food and beverage is allowed at the venue and the catering service is subject to strict health and safety protocols. The consumption of alcohol is permitted and the official caterer from the venue will provide menu suggestions for receptions that minimise the potential risks of infection.
The Bella Center’s restaurants are governed by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark and have an Elite (i.e. highest) rating in the Danish Smiley Scheme.
Lunch will be served in a buffet style and guests are required to use disposable gloves before handling service equipment. The lunch area will be accessible only to those delegates who hold a valid lunch ticket.
Traffic supervisors will manage queues in the catering area.
The use of hand sanitisers is mandatory and will be enforced by staff members at the access control points.
Extra safe zones (i.e. tables with increased social distancing) are offered to guests;
All allergens will be clearly marked on each food item on the buffet.
