Joint Statement – an ambitious R&I programme for Europe’s competitiveness
More than 100 industry and research associations call on the European institutions to significantly increase the proposed budget for the EU’s next research and innovation funding programme (FP10).
The importance of EU investments in research and innovation must be enshrined in the next EU budget. And should at minimum meet the target of spending 3% of GDP in research and innovation. The EU should establish more long-term public-private partnerships to support EU competitiveness and retain EU technological leadership in wind energy and other strategic sectors.
