EU Energy Commissioner receives Green Deal policy recommendations at emPOWER event
On Tuesday 18 February WindEurope presented 4 policy recommendations to EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson in cooperation with SmartEn, the Renewables Grid Initiative and SolarPower Europe to conclude emPOWER – the Energy Transition Summit.
Ahead of the European Climate Law the 4 organisations call on European policymakers to accelerate the implementation of the Clean Energy Package and the 2030 National Energy and Climate Plans, strengthen Europe’s grid, adopt an ambitious industrial strategy for renewables and foster a just transition for all Europeans.
