Overview
We were very concerned to learn that the Commission has decided to request an arbitration tribunal
on the UK closure of industrial sandeel fishing, under the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement
(TCA).
This undermines the UK and EU's ability to deliver large-scale ecosystem recovery in the North Sea and risks slowing down offshore renewables deployment.
