Strengthening Europe's wind supply chain

When: Tuesday, 25 April 2023, 9:00 - 10:30
Where: Auditorium 12

Session description

The European wind energy industry needs to deliver a huge and rapid expansion of wind. With the war in Ukraine, wind energy has been recognised as a strategic sector for Europe’s economy and industrial leadership. But it the current geoeconomic context is putting unprecedented pressures on the European supply chain. Its competitiveness is at risk of eroding. This debate will unpack the key enablers to bringing the European wind supply chain back to profitability while ensuring it can deliver the objectives set by REPowerEU and the long-term European decarbonisation goals.
