Biography

Chris is a chartered engineer specializing in electricity market design and offshore energy infrastructure. He has worked at the heart of energy policy for over a decade in a variety of technical, commercial, regulatory and leadership roles at both National Grid ESO and the UK’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Over the past two years Chris has led the UK’s Offshore Transmission Network Review, reforming how offshore wind is deployed and connected and how electricity networks are designed and delivered. Chris’s current role is Joint Head of Interconnection and Offshore Networks.
