Session description

Achieving EU decarbonization objectives will lead to a very high volumes of renewables, especially Wind, in the electric system and certainly locally with 100 % renewables even more compared to demand. System, networks and markets will have to adapt to the new generation situation : the sessions aims at lightening how to anticipate these challenges by gathering panelists from Transmission and Distribution System Operators with professionals of the Wind Energy Industry.

Discuss future system needs from the System operator point of view;
Discuss how the market should evolve to incentive investments and optimise operations in a system dominated by low-margin generation cost technologies and high CAPEX.
