Session description
Floating offshore wind is moving from pilot scale to commercial reality, opening deeper waters across Europe and expanding the offshore wind frontier. This session explores what it will take to bring floating projects to market at scale: industrialising foundation manufacturing, upgrading ports, designing technology specific auctions and CfDs, and reducing costs through innovation. With Europe targeting multi GW deployment, speakers will discuss how to unlock commercialisation, and build the supply chain needed for floating wind to thrive.
