Biography

With more than 25 years of experience in offshore energy projects, Séverine Baudic is Chief Executive Officer at Ekwil since July 2024. Before that, she spent most of her career at SBM Offshore, joining in 2001 as hydrodynamics engineer and later taking engineering project management positions. In 2018, she was appointed Managing Director of Floating Production Solutions, leading all sales and project execution activities. Since 2021, she has been focusing on the development of the New Energies portfolio for SBM Offshore, before the creation of Ekwil, a 50/50 JV between SBM Offshore and Technip Energies focusing on floating offshore wind industry. Since March 2025, Séverine is also a Non-Executive Director at Gasunie (a Dutch natural gas infrastructure and transportation company). Séverine has a degree in Marine Engineering from SeaTech School of Engineering in France and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Houston, USA.
