Biography

Magnus Brogaard Larsen, Managing Director, based in Copenhagen, is responsible for CIP’s offshore wind market and project development function, originating, evaluating and executing new market and early-stage project opportunities across CIP’s fund strategies globally. Mr. Larsen has developed a substantial pipeline of offshore wind greenfield projects and partnerships, including the Hornsea zone in the UK, greenfield projects in Denmark, Sweden and Canada and new market entries in Poland, Norway and the Baltics. Prior to joining CIP in 2021, Mr. Larsen was with DONG Energy (now Ørsted) since 2007, including positions in both Copenhagen and London, the most recent of which was head of the European offshore market development function. Mr. Larsen has played a crucial role in Ørsted’s green transformation, global offshore wind expansion and establishment in new markets. Mr. Larsen holds a Master of Science in Finance & Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.
