As of today, more than 10 GW of onshore wind across Europe is over 20 years old. More than half of that capacity is in Germany, Denmark, and Spain. In Spain, the northwest region of Galicia is a prime example with one of Europe’s oldest turbine fleets.
This event will bring stakeholders from different industries together for a panel discussion reflecting on end-of-life solutions across Europe, including lessons from Galicia.
We will give an overview on decommissioning, recycling and reuse along with insights from asset owners, industrial and recycling partners, service providers and local associations.
A welcome breakfast will be included.
