Abstract

Introduction The foundation of complex engineering structures in difficult sea conditions poses challenges to teams designing them and operator of a windfarm. Objective The aim of the work is to try to determine the possibility of using optical measuring optical fibers to monitor selected parameters determining the condition of the structure of a monopile constituting the foundation for the structure of an offshore windmill producing electricity.
