We would like to invite you to come and see the posters at our upcoming conference. The posters will showcase a diverse range of research topics and provide an opportunity for delegates to engage with the authors and learn more about their work. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or simply curious about the latest developments in your field, we believe that the posters will offer something of interest to everyone. So please, join us at the conference and take advantage of this opportunity to learn and engage with your peers in the academic community. We look forward to seeing you there!
PO246: Utilising data and sustainable practices to create a reliable supply chain for the wind industry.
James Barry, Chief Executive, Renewable Parts
Abstract
Renewable energy will see a dramatic increase in the next decade, with governmental targets and the removal of oil and gas from our energy system all contributing to an increase in its adoption. To support the implementation of this clean energy and the already GWs of projects already on the ground across the globe, a reliable and sustainable supply chain is required. The unreliability of wind turbines is partly due to the inconsistency of a natural resource; however, this maturing method of energy generation also requires, perhaps more than others, a data-driven supply chain with sustainability at its heart which provides reliability and innovative solutions.
