PO043: POSTER AWARD WINNER - The RecyclableBlade: Taking responsibility - blade by blade

Abstract

The RecyclableBlade is a ground-breaking new feature that allows the recycling of wind turbine blades after decommissioning. The application of a new resin technology called Recyclamine enables the mild solvolysis of the cured resin and the separation of all blade materials. Although recyclable, the resin system exhibits similar process and structural properties, which could be shown in different tests. Because the recycling process is mild, the quality of recovered materials is high.
