Biography

Fabrice is a Research Scientist at IFPEN since 2005 with an expertise in control and signal processing. At IFPEN, he worked in control design for automotive applications and then in the wind energy area, on the development & deployment of innovative ground-based LiDAR data post-processing algorithms for site assessment. Since 2015, he is wind turbine control project manager. He has been implied in various research projects: - SmartEole collaborative project addressing wind turbine and windfarm efficiency improvements, involving a wind energy supplier and a LiDAR manufacturer - Development and industrialization of real-time incoming wind reconstruction strategies applied on raw LiDAR data - LiDAR assisted wind turbine control development - Wind farm control and optimization strategies (curtailment + wake steering)
