Biography

Educated in engineering (MSc) and economics (Bch) Øyvind has experience from national and European policy making, working for regulator (NVE), TSO (Statnett) and the European Commission (DG ENER). Before joining Ørsted, Øyvind Vessia worked from 2009 to 2016 for DG ENER, focusing on renewable energy integration and uptake, as well as sustainability criteria including life-cycle GHG emissions of biofuels and biomass value chains. Since 2016 he works for Ørsted, where he is head of Regulatory and Public Affairs Central Europe and Nordics.
