Biography

Alessandro Murgia is senior data scientist in the EluciDATA Lab by Sirris since 2017. He is responsible for the set up and execution of various industrial research and knowledge transfer projects in the wind domain. His interests cover topics such as prognostic and health monitoring, benchmarking and profiling of industrial assets. From 2013 to 2016 he was a postdoctoral researcher in the domain of software engineering at the University of Antwerp. Alessandro has more than 10 years of experience in scientific research. Alessandro obtained a PhD in Electronics and Informatics Engineering from the University of Cagliari (Italy) in 2011.
