Biography
Johanna Fox is a transdisciplinary marine biologist with a broad and decade long experience from the NGO sector, spanning work on marine policy, fundraising and corporate partnerships. As the Director of WWF Baltic Programme she leads on WWF’s joint pan-Baltic work to address environmental challenges across the seascape and landscape of the Baltic Sea catchment. The WWF Baltic Programme is a partnership comprised of WWF offices and other affiliated organizations in the nine coastal Baltic Sea countries. Since the early 1990’s the programme has worked to identify solutions to restore the Baltic Sea and to promote a sustainable blue economy, under the vision of “A healthy, productive and resilient Baltic region, sustainably and equitably managed for the well-being of people and nature.”
