Biography

He previously worked in the Financial Sector (BBVA) and as Deputy Director CFO at Indra Sistemas, S.A. He joined Iberdrola in 2009 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Iberdrola Renovables, performing different functions at a global level. In 2011 he assumed the position of Director of Business Services and in 2015 he was appointed Director of Global Services at Iberdrola Renovables, a position he held until July 2018 when he was appointed Director of Human Resources and General Services of the Iberdrola Group, and adding since 2020 Corporate Security responsibility. He has been Chairman of the Board of Scottish Power Renovables, member of the Board of Iberdrola Renewables Holding Inc (IRHI-USA) and Chairman of its Audit Committee. He is currently member of the Board of NEOENERGIA, S.A. and member of the Remuneration Committee, member of the Board of AVANGRID and member of the Board of Iberdrola México, S.A. of C.V as well as member of its Audit and Compliance Committee.
