Biography

Cristina Prună has been a member of the Romanian Parliament since December 2016. She has two master's degrees in European and International Economic Development and Business Management from prestigious universities in France. Before entering politics, she worked in the corporate and non-profit sectors in several European countries. She serves as the Vice President of the Industries and Services Committee and a Member of the European Affairs Committee. Ms Prună's work focuses on energy topics, including coal, gas, and renewable energy, and she has introduced several bills in support of investments in this sector. Additionally, she is a part of Union Save Romania’s party leadership. She is also USR's principal advocate for important projects related to industrial growth and Romania's energy security.
