Biography

Somsubhro is new member of the Infrared Thermography team at BAM. He is active in the project EvalTherm where BAM is evaluating the performance of passive thermography as a non-destructive inspection tool for operational wind turbine rotor blades. He has previous experience of metal fatigue and fracture testing and modelling, and has been engaged in projects ranging from welding fatigue, defect assessment in pipelines, corrosion fatigue in wind turbine structures, and hydrogen embrittlement in steel infrastructure.
