Biography

Sofia Koukoura is a Senior Asset Performance analysis engineer at Scottishpower Renewables, part of the Iberdrola Group utility companies. She has a PhD in “Wind Turbine Gearbox Diagnostics Using Artificial Intelligence” and her research interests include signal processing, machine learning, prognostics and health management. She is currently leading several R&D projects within ScottishPower, in the area of wind turbine predictive maintenance, data analytics and wind farm O&M.
