Biography

Rene Peters is director gas technology at TNO, an applied technology organisation in the Netherlands. He is also member of the management team of the North Sea Energy program, which is a public private partnership program on offshore system integration in the North Sea with over 35 partners. This program is looking at innovative concepts for the transition of the North Sea from an oil and gas basin towards a renewable energy powerhouse for Northwest Europe. Rene has also initiated the first offshore green hydrogen pilot PosHYdon, which demonstrates green hydrogen production from offshore wind on a scale of 1 MW.
