Biography

Rebekah is a PhD researcher at the University of Strathclyde, working as part of the Wind and Marine Energy Systems and Structures (WAMESS) CDT. Rebekah studied for an undergraduate degree in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Glasgow, and worked as an Applications Engineer for a number of years before joining the CDT in 2019. Her PhD looks at the macroeconomic impact of offshore wind in the UK, with a focus on how economics research can be linked with industry decision making on topics such as supply chain and local content.
