Biography

Rebeca Rivera Lamata is a Senior Consultant at PEAK Wind – a company specialised in Operations Advisory and Asset Management in the renewables industry. She has 20+ years of experience as a technical specialist and project manager in the wind industry. Rebeca is a LiDAR management specialist and has been involved developing best practices for wind measurements with LiDAR for more than 12 years. She is an international expert in the IEC standardization groups IEC 61400-12-x &-50-x for wind measurements including the development of IEC 61400-50-3 Use of nacelle-mounted lidars for wind measurements. Currently she is international delegate for IEC 61400-50-4 Use of floating lidars and coordinates the Danish National mirror committee for measurement standards. Ms. Lamata has also been a regular partner in LiDAR industry R&D forums such as IEA Task 52.
