Scientist, TNO - Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research
Biography
Mr. Ochôa has been working in the wind, aircraft and infrastructure industries for 13 years. He is currently a scientist at the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) in Delft. He studied aerospace engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in Delft, specializing in materials and structures. After his studies he work at knowledge Centre WMC, Atkins Aerospace and TU Delft. Some of the project he has been involved in include AIRTuB, C-FLO and Bolt & Beautiful. His research focuses on structural safety and reliability. In particular, he is a specialist in developing methods for of structural damage diagnosis based on structure monitoring data. He also works on the integration of structural diagnosis and numerical models in order to develop digital twins.Posters
