Biography

I have been working in the wind research institute for almost 25years in Korean national research institute. I am currently a principal researcher in KIER(Korea Institute of Energy Research) in my country. I studied on aeronautical engineering and wind engineering at KAIST and INHA university in Korea and I have got a PhD on wind energy. After my studies, I have spent 20 years at KIER with various roles and have been involved in many projects as like wind measurement, wind turbine testing, wind turbine design and wind resource potential estimation. My research is specially focused on the field test of wind turbine performance and wind resource assessment. Fortunately, I have received 2 awards from national ministry for my work in the fields of wind resource and wind turbine dissemination.
