Biography

Jonathan is the technical lead for wind related projects at the NCC, with a clear focus on sustainability. His responsibilities include leading the collaborative SusWIND programme, delivered in partnership with the Offshore Renewable Catapult, focusing on the end-of-life strategies of wind turbine blades, the application of circularity principles and alternative materials. He completed his PhD in Advanced Composites at the University of Bristol, focusing on non-linear applications of fibre alignment in composites. Since joining the NCC Jonathan has been involved introducing novel applications of composites into the wind industry.
