Session description
This session looks at various aspects of system integration and digitalisation. It discusses how the concept of blockchain algorithm can used to improve security and confidence in the trading market through data requirements and high system penetration to using synchronous condenser technology to support the transmission system. This session will give the opportunity to selected poster presenters to present orally their work. All delegates are invited to attend and interact with the presenters during interactive and dynamic Q&As.
Learning objectives
- An understanding how blockchain can be used to improve the security of supply.
- The audience will learn about the data requirements in closing the loop in wind energy assessment from pre to post construction.
- An insight into the effects of a high penetration of renewables in the electricity system.
Session chair

Mike Anderson
