Biography

Rob van Gerwen is a very experienced senior technical consultant in DNV GL’s Energy Advisory business area. He has a background in physics including computational physics and building physics. He has a broad understanding of energy markets and the transmission and distribution of energy and he managed and supported many projects in the field of domestic, utility and industrial energy use. He has been involved in many modelling based scenario studies regarding smart grid implementation, demand response, storage, renewables and more generally the energy transition.
