Biography

Dr. Mike Anderson was the Group Technical Director and co-founder of Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Group, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company from 1982 until his retirement in 2017. Following a BSc in Physics from Nottingham University he obtained a PhD from Cambridge University for his pioneering work on the aerodynamics of wind turbines. During his career with RES he had specific responsibility for overseeing wind speed assessment, layout design and energy yield analysis along with R&D.
